Made with thicker iron sheets and stronger welds than usual, these watering cans are produced for longevity. When the watering can construction is completed in iron, they are hot galvanized (immersed in a zinc alloy that is 460 degrees hot), the zinc adheres to the iron as a thick syrup. When the jug comes up again, it hangs and drips for a good 20 minutes.
