Linea Planters

“For me, it was important to find an expression and materiality that clearly connects to Korbo’s tradition of craftsmanship. For me, this meant incorporating both a softness and a strictness in the planters that provide contrast and tactility” – Monica Förster

A prerequisite for the work was to create a series of planters that can be used both outdoors and indoors, capable of standing outside all year round and growing more beautiful with each passing season.

The design reduces and stylises the basket’s grid pattern, bringing out a form that simultaneously expresses kinship with the classic Korbo basket, while also forming its own new expression.

Linea is a family of planters in three different sizes crafted from sand cast aluminum.
