Fine pair of French deco-style estate gates, circa 1930-1940. These gates were purchased at auction at Sothebys. Given the number of broken welds, and deteriorated paint, a decision was made to media blast them. All the necessary repairs were made to the steel, and the gates were galvanized for maximum protection from rust. The Branch Studio applied a final finish, which gives the gates that soft blue gray patina. This finish makes them maintenance free. They measure 14'8″ wide, overall.
