Found at the Brimfield Flea Market in Massachusetts, this wood beauty has now made it back to the the Detroit area. Originally made at A. Backus Jr. & Sons, Detroit, Michigan. This company patented these containers and also dog crates with gorgeous slat work, c. 1900.
