These are the Burgon & Ball Topiary Trimming Shears which are made in Sheffield England and endorsed by The Royal Horticultural Society. These shears have exceptional performance and allow for single handed use, leaving the other hand free to fluff up foliage.

The small shear is a compact (3.74") bladed shear particularly suited to gardeners with smaller hands and for jobs requiring particular precision. The large shears are a long (5.7") bladed hand shear, particularly suited to gardeners with larger hands (or larger pieces of topiary to tackle). The large shears also have angled blades to keep knuckles clear from foliage when cutting straight lines or can be turned over to help create curves.
