Antique Stoneware Pot
This pair of antique stoneware pots have the shape of a classic ginger jar. Of English origin, they have a beautiful terra cotta coloration and patina. The black on the surface is strongly suggestive of deposits made to the pots during the Industrial Revolution. The foot of one pot does have some chips, revealing the cream colored stoneware clay body. Click on the picture below for detail.
